Requirements
  • Master’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering required
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Extensive experience using CFD tools such as ANSYS FLUENT or SIEMENS STAR-CCM+ is required
  • CAD experience required (Tools such as SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, SpaceClaim, etc.)
  • Minimum industry experience of 1 year
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with an ability to present complex technical information clearly
Responsibilities
  • Lead and support CFD projects across all product divisions - burners, flares, thermal oxidizers, vapor
  • Work closely with the Computational Group at Zeeco headquarters in Tulsa, OK
  • Support the research and development projects that require CFD analyses
  • Interpret and present simulation findings clearly to help guide engineering design decisions
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations
  • Work with complicated geometry, fluid flows, turbulence and reactions within CFD
  • Utilize your knowledge in CFD and programming to improve the CFD workflow
  • Contribute to the long-term business and technical objectives of the Computational Group and Zeeco as a whole
  • Other tasks as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree preferred
  • Prior experience in combustion preferred
  • Programming experience preferred (Python, Java, C++, Fortran, R, etc.)
  • Linux experience preferred
