That’s why we’re looking for a talented Product Designer - Design Systems to join Procore’s journey to revolutionize a historically underserved industry.

As a Product Designer - Design Systems, you’ll create design system components for our Product and Engineering teams to leverage as they build the Procore application experiences. You’ll shape our products by understanding our application team’s needs and translating them into scalable components, validating them frequently during the journey from concept to polished product.

This position will report to a Manager, Product Design on our Design Systems team, and has the opportunity to work in our Cairo office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Work on a mature design system, helping our team expand, support, and maintain Procore’s Core Design System, a widely adopted design system across Procore’s products and experiences.
• Collaborate with a distributed, global team of designers and engineers across the company to understand their needs and work to design and document accessible, scalable components and patterns.
• Partner with in-house UX research experts to conduct generative research and usability tests with Procore users and/or Product and Engineering teams, both online and in-person at job sites around the country
• Advocate for the user and evangelize user experience throughout the organization
• Promote a positive culture within your Design Systems team, and overcome challenges through endurance, grit, and persistence

What we’re looking for:

• Work experience in graphic design, UI, HCI, or UX is required 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related Design field is preferred but not required
• 3-5+ years of experience designing world-class apps with a strong portfolio of design work
• Excellent communication skills with a proven track record presenting designs and articulating design decisions to both cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency in leading design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong ownership, bias to action, and know-how to succeed, even in ambiguity
• Ability to design as a team, exploring and promoting new ideas, especially those that aren’t your own
• You’re self-aware and lead from a place of empathy
• Enjoy the challenges of leveraging critical thinking and system thinking to solve highly complex and nuanced needs of enterprise B2B customers
