  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales management experience or minimum of 10+ years of successful quota-carrying sales experience within the Benefits Administration space
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop junior Seller
  • Demonstrated success in rapidly assimilating and imparting knowledge of complex technical products, services, and solutions to a sales team of varying tenure and experience
  • Extensive experience in customer-facing roles with a proven aptitude for executing sales strategies and nurturing high-value client relationships
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and sales teams to create relationships and identify business opportunities
  • Highly organized and strategically minded, with a strong drive for achieving sales excellence and fostering a collaborative environment that enhances the customer journey and experience
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales strategies that are aligned to overall Aptia strategic goals to engage a Broker’s book of business through both top-down and bottom-up prospecting.
  • Meet and/or exceed bookings target
  • Train, develop, and coach Sellers to exhibit 'A-Player' competencies and establish themselves as trusted advisors to prospects/customers through sales techniques, customer service, and product knowledge
  • Develop innovative ideas to share with team members to mobilize prospects and customers and provide expertise directly to key customers around industry best practices
  • Provide accurate forecasts and monthly reports to sales leadership to communicate health of the sales pipeline, significant market trends, and any potential risks that may impact their team’s ability to hit its targets
  • Review team pipeline on a regular basis to assist sellers in advancing key opportunities that have stalled and lead quarterly business reviews
  • Collaborate internally with Relationship Management, Product, and Marketing teams to enhance product offerings and create a cohesive customer experience
  • Lead sales meetings and training sessions to ensure team alignment with sales objectives and Aptia's strategic vision
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to foster business growth
  • Proactively engage with clients and Sellers during the sales process to identify areas of opportunity for Aptia and win business
