  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing from an NLN-approved school of nursing
  • 3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience
  • LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire
  • CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation Upon Hire
  • CRT-Specialty Certification - UNKNOWN Unknown appropriate specialty preferred
Responsibilities
  • Fielding incoming referrals for Robotic Cardiovascular Surgery
  • Evaluation of past medical records and candidacy for Cardiovascular Surgery
  • Coordination of testing and appointments
  • Patient and family education on procedures, diagnosis, and condition
  • Post procedure communication and documentation to patient and referring care team
  • Maintenance of robotics patient database and use of technology including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite resources
  • Coordination of multi-disciplinary team for procedure efficiency
  • Continuous education and academic advancement in robotic cardiovascular surgery
  • Collaboration with inpatient team for post-procedure follow-up and discharge
  • Cross coverage support with Structural Heart team
