Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus
  • 3-4+ Years of Public Accounting or Industry experience, Big 4 experience a plus
  • Experience in Anaplan and Workday are a plus
  • Very strong excel skills and passion for new technologies
  • Demonstrated ownership, problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable integrity
  • Experience with, and enjoys collaborating with sales executives and sales management
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly evolving, highly transactional and data driven role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to interface and establish rapport with all levels of the organization

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering team and other stakeholders to understand nature, status of ongoing projects and verify the inputs for software capitalization calculations
  • Prepare calculation of capitalization and release of completed projects on quarterly basis
  • Work closely with the commission operation team to record monthly and quarterly commission accrual, amortization, reclassification, capitalization and other commission related entries
  • Lead efforts to optimize the sales commission calculation process to improve efficiency while maintaining accuracy
  • Develop commission-related analytics to detect errors and evaluate trends
  • Assist in managing the monthly close process and reconciliations such as accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, fixed asset and various other areas
  • Collaborate with FP&A and other cross-functional departments to ensure completeness of accruals
  • Assist in daily general ledger operations for the majority of financial statement processes
  • Support quarterly reviews and annual audits through interactions with external auditors
  • Lead change in the organization through participation in special projects and ad hoc analyses (i.e. entity rollout, new software implementation, etc.)
