- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Networking, or related field
- Experience with common software applications and hardware components
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Interns work alongside our Service Desk Team to provide world class technology support under the direct supervision of the Helpdesk Team Lead.
- Summer Internship Program with a concentration in Information Technology Support.
- A 10–12-week program; up to 40 hours per week
- IDT interns gain valuable, hands-on experience and solve real-world problems.
- All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
- At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and solving technical issues within the Windows operating system
- Customer service experience, preferably 1 year
- Current college juniors/rising seniors preferred
- Attention to detail

- Solid analytical abilities, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
IDT provides automated software testing, data analysis, and cybersecurity solutions for DoD mission-critical systems. Its ATRT technology automates the full testing lifecycle—from component tests to system integration and result analysis—allowing rapid updates of large, complex software. The offering emphasizes repeatable, statistically rigorous testing, rapid configuration validation, and on-demand regression tests in response to cyber threats, with solutions tailored to each customer’s system. The goal is to field new software capabilities faster and more affordably by reducing the time and cost spent on software testing.
