Requirements
  • Extensive full-stack development experience with a range of programming languages and frameworks, including TypeScript, React, React Native on the frontend, alongside Python and FastAPI on the backend.
  • Understand common API patterns and can apply them efficiently in both frontend and backend contexts, clearly articulating the benefits and trade-offs of different approaches.
  • Provide constructive code reviews that help teammates write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the entire technology stack and can guide strategic decisions regarding the selection and integration of specific frameworks and technologies.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components for web and mobile applications. Craft elegant, intuitive, and highly interactive user interfaces using TypeScript, React, and React Native, tailored to the needs of cardiologists and patients while building robust, scalable backend services with Python and FastAPI.
  • Optimize end-to-end application performance by enhancing UI responsiveness and refining backend data processing, ensuring a consistently seamless and reliable user experience.
  • Design and implement secure, efficient APIs that enable smooth communication between frontend interfaces, backend systems, and external platforms supporting real-time, high-integrity data exchange.
  • Manage and evolve our PostgreSQL database schema, ensuring data integrity, query efficiency, and optimal performance throughout the platform.
  • Uphold high code quality standards by applying best practices across the full stack, ensuring the codebase remains clean, scalable, and maintainable in line with the rigorous demands of a medical-grade product.
  • Contribute both independently and collaboratively, taking ownership of features from concept to deployment. Work closely across teams to understand user needs, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle.
