Requirements
  • Prior Advisory Compliance experience and/or knowledge of US federal securities laws a plus
  • 3-5 years of asset management compliance experience
  • Ability to outline a project and manage to completion while interacting with various parts of BlackRock
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically, logically and analytically
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong written/oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree required
Responsibilities
  • support a number of global compliance programs including, Reallocations, Expert Networks, assisting with the coordination of the review and updates to various Policies and Procedures along with actioning Portfolio Management order restrictions
  • provide compliance support to the Private Debt portfolio management and Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions group
  • reviewing information barrier alerts
  • responding to business inquiries
  • assisting with the review and approval of investment and trading reallocation requests
  • production of management information reporting for committees
  • monitoring
  • provide compliance support and analysis for business, firm-wide and Legal and Compliance initiatives that may require coordination with colleagues across the Americas and in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia-Pacific regions
