Application Engineering Intern

Join our team of engineers who provide our Keysight customers with application and technical support. This application engineer intern role will have you work with our team of highly skilled engineers to learn about test instruments and applications then to develop technical articles related to utilization of electronic test equipment, write example test automation programs, and/or engage directly with Keysight customers looking for assistance in solving their test & measurement challenges.

The ideal candidate is working toward a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, has software programming experience, and enjoys communicating information utilizing their technical writing skills. Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators and their use in device analysis is beneficial.

• B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in-progress
• Strong understanding of electrical signals in both time and frequency domain
• Ability to perform hands-on measurements using state-of-the-art test and measurement equipment and techniques
• Computer programming experience in language such as C# or Python; experience with instrument automation a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a strong teamwork environment
• Solid English writing skills with an ability to professionally convey technical information and test process steps through emails and technical articles

Pay Range:

$25-45/hour
