The Aledade Growth Team is currently looking for a Director of Finance to join their team. This person will report to the Chief of Staff and work closely with the Chief Growth Officer and the Finance team on strategic planning, decision-support, risk-management, management reporting and business analysis. They will be responsible for creating budgets, forecasts, and analyzing key performance indicators such as customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, revenue, and EBITDA contribution. Additionally, the Director of Finance will act as the primary liaison for the Finance team in contributing to the development of the company’s long-range plan, annual budgets, and investor communications. Their strong analytical and research capabilities will provide valuable insights to the CGO and Senior Leadership Team on financial impacts on the growth team and the broader business.
Primary responsibiltiies and duties include:
Financial Analysis & Forecasts
- Strategic planning, comprehensive analysis of financial reports and KPIs and risk-management to provide in-depth analysis on financial performance to enhance executive and business decision-support to grow the company
- Forecasts and analyzing key performance indicators such as customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, revenue, and EBITDA contribution.
Budget Management
- Oversee Budget; Primary liaison for the Finance and cross-functional teams to gather data for financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning purposes and in contributing to the development of the company’s long-range plan, annual budgets, and investor communications and alert corporate finance on operations that will impact financial processes or forecasting
- Manage ongoing and annual budget process, accruals, including in-depth analysis on financial performance, including variances from budget and prior periods, and root cause analysis
- Manage expense, travel and budget approval and process
- Point person for all budget & forecasting questions for Growth Leadership and Finance, including bonus, capital expenditures and capital access programs.
- Manage contract management and accounts payable approvals in tipalti- work with the legal, procurement and accounts payable teams to maintain vendor relationships, manage contracts and invoices
- Collaborate with the Director of Procurement and Business Leads during annual planning process from RFP issuance through to negotiations
Compensation and Incentive Plans
- Manage incentive plan design, modeling, forecasting, mgt & processing
- Manage incentive plan processing and documentation and analysis in coordination with Sr. Manager of Compensation (HR), Sr. Director of Sales Ops (Growth) and Director, Growth Management (Growth)
Capital Access and Investments
- ROI modeling, reporting, processing, documenting and measurement for growth-related investment opportunities (e.g. capital offers, new products, contract/deal structure, new technologies, staffing)
- Develop, maintain, analyze and update financial models to support the department’s planning decision-making process, investment opportunities (capital access)and analysis activities and liaising with the finance and legal teams for approval.
Adhoc analysis and reporting
- As requested analysis and modeling
Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive finance or management consulting experience with a BS/BA in finance, accounting or a related field required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis experience within health care with a strong understanding of value-based care or experience in a growth or business development function preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a high attention to detail to produce insights into the department’s financial performance
- Exceptional critical-thinking, quantitative skills and business judgment -- ability to synthesize complex probabilistic performance inputs actionable recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to a non-financial audience
- Strong internal customer service focus, with strong interpersonal skills -- excellent at communication, building relationships, and working across all company levels.
- Entrepreneurial spirit - must thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven, rapidly changing environment, thrive working independently, and effectively handle competing priorities
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, and comfort with ambiguity; ability to embrace change and build structure into a less defined work environment

- Commitment to confidentiality and discretion in appropriately handling sensitive information is required

- This role can be hired as a Senior Manager based on experience.
