Requirements
  • 2-4+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, principal investing, or another analytically rigorous finance role.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and accounting skills, with the ability to turn incomplete or imperfect information into useful analysis.
  • A genuine interest in finance, investing, and mergers and acquisitions, including understanding how businesses make money, analyzing financial statements and operating data, building models, and using quantitative analysis to answer business questions.
  • Strong critical thinking and business judgment, including the ability to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and focus on material issues.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand businesses, markets, and transaction dynamics rather than simply execute assigned analyses.
  • The ability to take an ambiguous question, determine how to approach it, and drive toward an answer independently.
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams and produce high-quality work under tight timelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex analysis into concise, decision-useful conclusions.
  • The ability to work with and develop relationships across organizational levels, including senior executives.
  • High standards for accuracy, professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Successful completion of all required background checks.
  • Compliance with applicable legal and company requirements for working in the industry.

  • Being at least 21 years of age.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate acquisition, investment, and strategic opportunities through financial modeling, valuation, market research, and business diligence, including analysis of transaction economics, returns, sensitivities, and key operating assumptions.
  • Analyze target-company financial and operating information and coordinate diligence across internal teams and external advisors to develop an independent view of business performance, key risks, and investment considerations.
  • Develop perspectives on opportunities and risks and translate analysis into concise recommendations and decision materials for senior leadership and the Board.
  • Support transactions throughout the full deal lifecycle, including initial evaluation, diligence, structuring, negotiation, documentation, and closing.
  • Interact directly with company management teams, founders, investors, bankers, attorneys, and other transaction counterparties.
  • Conduct market, industry, competitive, and public-company analysis to identify trends, risks, and potential investment opportunities and communicate relevant insights to leadership.
  • Improve the team's analytical tools, processes, and use of technology, including artificial intelligence, to increase the speed and quality of decision-making.

A grand opening event is scheduled for 7 September. Green Thumb Industries opened its 13th Nevada location, RISE Dispensary Sparks, on 18 August. The store is located at 1530 S. Stanford Way, Suite B-6 #102, Sparks, NV 89431, near I-80 in South Sparks. RISE Dispensary Sparks will serve both medical patients and adult-use customers from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The shop offers home delivery on orders of $50 or more and stocks Green Thumb's product portfolio, including RYTHM premium flower, Dogwalkers pre-rolls, incredibles chocolates, Beboe gummies, and &Shine vapes. A grand opening event is scheduled for 5 September at 8 a.m. Following company tradition, first-day profits will benefit Food Bank of Northern Nevada. Green Thumb has operated in Nevada since 2016 and runs one production facility in Carson City and two in Las Vegas.

Operating hours are 9am to 8pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sundays. A grand opening event is scheduled for 5 September, with a portion of profits benefiting The Grateful Veteran, a nonprofit supporting veterans and first responders. Green Thumb entered the Florida market in 2018 and operates two production facilities in the state, in Ocala and Homestead.
