Poms & Associates is an independent insurance brokerage and risk management firm that helps organizations protect people, operations, assets, and their future. It combines insurance placement with hands-on risk control services—such as safety assessments, training, claims advocacy, and regulatory guidance—to identify exposures, reduce losses, and improve long-term outcomes. Unlike firms that treat risk control as an add-on, Poms makes risk control central to its service, offering personalized attention with national reach and industry-specific expertise across nonprofits, public entities, education, manufacturing, construction, real estate, transportation, and more. The company’s goal is to move clients beyond simply buying insurance toward building safer, more resilient operations. It also operates POPS, Pacific Ocean Production Studios, a subsidiary aimed at addressing systemic issues of child sexual abuse, exploitation, and grooming on school campuses and in youth organizations.
