Responsibilities
  • Learn CCMSI systems and everyday tools, including email, calendars, shared drives, and claim systems.
  • Process incoming documents and bills.
  • Complete required forms and claim paperwork.
  • Communicate by phone and email with injured employees, medical offices, employers, attorneys, and other people involved in claims.
  • Support experienced Claims Professionals by assisting with claim files.
  • Set up new claims and gather key information.
  • Make required contact promptly with injured employees, employers, and medical providers.
  • Conduct basic claim investigations and clearly document findings.
  • Build action plans, track deadlines, and move claims forward.
  • Work with a mentor and take on a growing claim workload as skills develop.
  • Prepare for and, if required for the assigned work, pass a state licensing exam.
  • Manage a larger group of active claim files with increased independence as the program progresses.
  • Participate in claim reviews and legal reviews as part of the learning process.
  • Complete advanced best-practices training and prepare for promotion.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service, call center, administrative support, healthcare office work, legal support, or similar fast-paced environments.
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency for communicating with injured employees, employers, or partners.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
