Requirements
  • BS or MS Civil Engineering from an accredited engineering program or equivalent
  • NCEES EIT designation preferred
  • 2-7 years of professional experience
  • Experience working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HYDROCAD or an equivalent tool
  • Familiarity or experience with surveys
  • Ability to work in ad-hoc teams and take direction
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to build, experiment, and iterate when the path forward is undefined
  • Ability to occasionally drive to evening-time meetings of project-approving authorities
  • Solid written and oral communication and analytical skills
  • Passionate about renewable sources of energy
Responsibilities
  • Conduct site due diligence, research permitting paths, and draft civil consultation memos
  • Prepare site plans for submission to authorities having jurisdiction
  • Analyze and prepare Stormwater Management Reports using HYDROCAD
  • Prepare SWPPP documentation and submit eNOI’s
  • Assist in the development of standard details, notes, and specifications
  • Coordinate the proposal and work of survey partners
  • Coordinate consultant works such as wetlands delineation, cultural and historical specialists, arborists, etc
  • Accompany senior engineers to meetings with local planning/zoning boards and state agencies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
