Requirements
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least one year of experience in the same or related role preferred
  • Prior benefits or insurance experience preferred
  • Ability to create standard and ad hoc reports
  • Ability to quickly input data and information into digital tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, with an intermediate-level comfort in Excel
  • Microsoft Power BI or Power Apps experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented and extremely well-organized, with an ability to balance a high-volume workload with competing deadlines
  • Strong analytical, logic, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to follow a process and troubleshoot, with good critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team structure
Responsibilities
  • Serve our internal service teams and consultants with an unmatched focus on data and process
  • Format and input data and information into a variety of client facing tools
  • Quickly aggregate data and perform basic analyses
  • Document appropriate data elements used for insurance carrier negotiations, and for the validation of renewals/proposals
  • Deliver findings to internal teams and clients
  • Contribute to enhancement of client service, and maintain a familiarity with industry trends
  • Troubleshoot, investigate and correct report outputs as required
  • Learn, analyze, and report on several types of group benefits in addition to health
  • Support other initiatives of analytics & innovation as needed
