Operations Assistant

Position Summary

The Operations Assistant will have production responsibilities including work order fulfillment, sales orders, cycle counts, receiving, sales order fulfillment and will assist in general stockroom organization. The successful candidate will also assist with the documentation and improvement of internal operations processes through Dozuki, our procedure document control platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in stockroom organization and flow
• Pick work orders and fulfill storeroom requests
• Asist in cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Work with NetSuite (ERP system) on inventory transactions
• Assist in receiving where necessary
• Provide assistance to the materials procurement team
• Create and/or edit Operations-related procedure documentation

Skills & Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing/production operations environment
• Familiarity with inventory control and operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible and capable of dealing with multiple priorities.
• Able to work within a team environment of conflicting opinions, ideas and solutions
• Familiar with ISO 9001/2015 quality system
• Experience with an ERP system is preferred
• Background in manufacturing scientific instrumentation is a plus
