  • 5+ years leading Marketplace initiatives, and 10+ years of relevant experience in tech
  • Business and product leader with cross-functional experience building, scaling, and operating a Marketplace
  • Driven to deliver a consistently remarkable experience and impact for customers, partners, and Fleetio
  • Accountable for the impact of Marketplace initiatives and activities - from strategy, operations, and product development to sales, GTM, partnerships, and team development
  • A natural tendency to solve complex problems, adapt, minimize switching costs, and mitigate risks across the customer/partner journey and software development lifecycle
  • Experience hiring, growing, and retaining great talent
  • Stellar communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to negotiate and effectively communicate ideas, metrics, concepts, decisions, and solutions to stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities
  • Direction: Provide strong, clear, and visionary leadership - Developing and executing a data-informed, mission-driven strategy and vision for Fleetio's Maintenance Marketplace, MSI, Fleetio Pay, Integrations, internal tooling, and future productizations - aligned with our mission, goals, and objectives
  • Leadership: Set the pace for our Marketplace and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, high trust, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization
  • Orchestration: Lead the orchestration of a consistently excellent booking/tracking and payment/invoicing experience for fleet managers, drivers, shops, and partners - managing projects, pilots, and coordination across stakeholders as needed to ensure the proper execution, communication, and resources are in place to solve problems, triage issue resolution, minimize bad actors, fill gaps, deliver critical milestones, and build an efficient engine for growth
  • Scaling: Establish the right systems and plans to ensure the healthy growth of MSI through creative solutions, manual + automated reconciliation processes, partnership management, change management, process optimizations, risk mitigation, customer development, acquisition, adoption, and retention
  • Partnerships: Spearhead, build, and foster relationships with our network of shops, key customers, integration, and banking partners to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and win-win scenarios
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with key stakeholders across the organization to address concerns, align on cross-functional initiatives, and create solutions to maximize the creation and capture of value across supply and demand
  • Discovery: Guide user and market research, supply and demand-side needs, and monitor trends to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition
  • Productization: Drive a customer-centric, problem-solving roadmap, launching new features and capabilities and delivering on time to meet customer and business needs - ideating, developing, and iterating new solutions to reduce friction, drive top-line growth, and increase sharing of wallet
  • Monetization: Develop pricing and packaging strategies, identify new revenue streams, and ensure sales targets are met
  • Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, costs, forecasts, and metrics dashboards
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements
  • Accountability: Adaptability and drive to own the success of the end-to-end Fleetio Marketplace, making it a critical part of our business by providing customers with the optimal mix of price, speed, selection, and quality
