Job requirements
Role Summary:
As Technical Team Leader, you will be leading a multi-skilled “Data and Calculations" implementations teams for UK and India. You will have overall accountability for the resourcing and delivery of your team across multiple sites (both onshore and offshore) ensuring deliverables are within agreed timescales, budget and quality standards. Always looking to continuously improve the service we provide.
Just as important, will be building and developing your team, allowing your team to meet their career aspirations.
This is a hybrid position where you will work from any of our UK Aptia offices, as well as from your home address.
We will count on you to:
Lead, manage and develop your team’s skills and capability. You will need to ensure that effective performance and career conversations are taking place aligned to our Perform and Grow principles and Implementations behavioural framework.
Formulate and execute both strategic and continuous service improvement plans and foster an environment in which ideas and innovation are encouraged.
Provide support and mentoring to peers and Pod leaders.
Support new business opportunities by contributing to the tender process and attending any pre-sale meetings.
Working with the Implementations leader to design and implement a fit for purpose target operating model for managing and delivering Client change projects that are revenue driven.
Collaborative working with wider business teams in terms of customer deliveries and support, as well as deliveries of strategic improvements.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
Experience of leading, managing, motivating and developing multi-disciplinary technical teams across multiple sites (UK and India).
Experience of managing implementations teams.
Experience within the Employee Benefits and/or Life and Pensions Industries
Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise resources and workload to achieve critical deadlines and business priorities.
Technical development experience and working knowledge of the software development process that supports the implementations space.
Experience of working within a commercial environment undergoing major change.
Governance and reporting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical issues clearly and able to both high level and general audiences.
Experience in negotiation and conflict resolution and proven track record of senior stakeholder management.
