Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related business discipline

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the close of private transactions
  • Assist in the preparation and detailed review of transaction documents
  • Coordinate with sellers, operations, and executive leadership teams to close transactions quickly and efficiently
  • Communicate with sellers to gather information and arrange the legal opinions, payment of transfer fees, and collection of commissions
  • Work with operations department to set up wires to sellers
  • Communicate with executive leadership teams to navigate the company’s closing process
  • Monitor the companies in the closing stage to determine actionable next steps
  • Conduct post-closing functions such as managing the trade blotter and other internal documentation
  • Learn how to navigate the private transactions closing process including the right of first refusal process
