  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional registration, preferably licensed in California.
  • A minimum of seven years of qualifying experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • A strong understanding of relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in water and sewer modeling programs such as WaterCAD, InfoSWMM, and Aquanuity software.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering reports, plans, specifications, and estimates for various water resources and civil engineering projects.
  • Design municipal public works infrastructure projects relating to water resource engineering, including water, wastewater, stormwater, and recycled water.
  • Perform water and wastewater master planning.
  • Perform water and wastewater infrastructure hydraulic modeling.
  • Perform water supply engineering.
  • Conduct recycled water systems feasibility studies and designs.
  • Design water distribution systems and pump stations.
  • Design sewer collection systems and lift stations.
  • Design water and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Perform civil, water, and wastewater design supporting the development of wineries and other private and commercial projects.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support permitting.
  • Assist with project management functions, including scope, budget, and scheduling control for complex civil engineering projects.
  • Contribute to strategic business development efforts by supporting proposal and statement of qualifications development, interview preparation and participation, and representing the firm in industry and community settings to expand market presence.
Desired Qualifications
  • Specific experience with geographic information system databases related to public agency utility systems, including water, sewer, storm drain, and other utilities, as well as utility master planning and preparation of utility atlas maps.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro.
