  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, finance, economics, or licensed contractor
  • Minimum of 2 years of Utility Solar estimating experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and estimating platforms
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Willingness to work long hours and under time pressure environments
  • Ability to interact with senior-level management internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Cost estimation oversight in the US
  • Support the cost estimator and or Sr. Director of Estimating with various tasks
  • Site evaluation
  • Review project documents
  • Identify mitigation requirements
  • Prepare scopes of work for sub-contractors
  • Confirm equipment specifications
  • Work with Procurement team to confirm material estimates
  • Gain knowledge to make recommendations on risk reduction
  • Gain knowledge of electrical calculations
  • Conduct site visits
  • Assist with Research and Development
  • Travel up to 20%
