Requirements
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales and meeting sales targets
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a passion for sales
  • Public safety / 9-11 / state & local government experience required
  • Solid understanding technology: cloud computing, enterprise software, and data analytics
Responsibilities
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, including detailed needs analysis, product overview, and potential solution fit.
  • Conduct outbound calling against targeted accounts to generate new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle on specific opportunities in region, including positioning and demonstrating products, quoting, and managing procurement activities.
  • Develop effective sales strategies and meet or exceed sales targets and goals
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.
  • Clearly communicate RapidDeploy’s value and mission
  • Consistent utilization of RapidDeploy’s sales process and sales enablement tools
  • Be a challenger – understand your target market, issues, decision makers, funding sources and proactively bring solutions that will provide a successful path for sales execution
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities.
