Responsible for analyzing and negotiating real estate acquisitions, dispositions and major and complex lease transaction with high financial liability within the Corporation or one of its subsidiaries. Functions include: conducting site evaluations, preparing market analyses, negotiation terms and conditions, marketing and disposing of surplus space, hiring and supervising outside consultants, reviewing leases and contract documentation and maintaining ongoing contact with industry professionals and internal management.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years properties or lease negotiation experience.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of real estate experience including transactions such as purchase contracts, ground leases, storefront leases, zoning and site plan approval
Financial analysis, including a working knowledge of real estate analysis software
Strong negotiation and oral and written communication skills in development of business cases and presentations to executive management
Proven experience in retail site selection and acquisitions are primary requirements coupled with facilitation and teamwork skills
Microsoft Office experience which includes Excel and Power Point applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or Finance.
