Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Manpower Management Technician to support our ETMO customer in San Antonio, TX.
This position allows for remote work; however, the employee must reside in proximity to an Air Force or Space Force installation to meet mission-critical requirements and facilitate occasional on-site collaboration as needed.
What you will be doing:
- Assist the government in the administration of enterprise-wide civilian recruiting to fill vacancies and generate civilian Guardian applicants.
- Posting job advertisements via social media outlets (LinkedIn, USAJobs Flyers, and AFPC advertisement
- Proactively source candidates for hard to fill positions
- Provide support to hiring manages on recruiting actions (management advisory services)
- Coordinate interview process with hiring managers and candidates
- Attend recruiting events to source candidates virtually and in-person
- Coordinate enterprise-wide recruiting events with AFPC, Field Commands, Civilian Personnel.
- Assist the government in applying current DoDI, DAF, and USSF policies to transfer members into the USSF via military accessions.
- Collaborate with other agencies to obtain a final list of approved selectees released for transfer into the USSF
- Retrieve service documents from the Defense Personnel Records Information System for sister-service selectees, initiate service transfer case for each selectee that includes
- Assisting (as needed) with transfer process and requirements, tracking and securing receipt of required checklist documents, reviewing accuracy of documents provided, confirming service member’s medical qualification for transfer, executing Exceptional Family Member clearance actions for dependents in partnership with the selectees’ losing service, collaborating with the USSF Assignments team on any OCONUS basing requirements, confirming USSF Appointment Scroll approval for officers, certifying selectees’ official personnel records are uploaded to the Automated Records Management System (ARMS).
What you will need:
- 10-15 years of experience in office administration, personnel, policy, analysis, MS Office Suite
- Prior military Personnel Systems Management (PSM) training/background highly desired and/or background in systems integration/programming, or equivalent experience/responsibility
- DoD Secret clearance desired
- BA/BS required
