- Conduct interdepartmental meetings to determine the infrastructure, systems, and personnel resources required for customer service representative and Network Operations Center functions.
- Develop critical project milestones and ensure that projects remain on schedule.
- Escalate potentially sensitive customer issues to the immediate manager.
- Monitor customer performance and service experience and request additional support from sales, engineering, or management when needed.
- Use emergency notification procedures to communicate emergency activities to Telesat management and relevant internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Develop a methodology to identify program deficiencies and document plans to correct and close gaps in customer service representative and Network Operations Center functionality.
- Manage relationships with sales, engineering, operations teams, and third-party suppliers and vendors to ensure contracted services are met.
- Provide assistance and advice to Telesat departments concerning scheduling and project management for assigned customer-service and system-fault workflows.
- Participate in interdepartmental planning meetings as required.
- Exercise independent judgment and analytical skill to solve complex administrative and fault-management problems.
- Act as the technical liaison for customer service representative and Network Operations Center functions on projects involving GEO-to-LEO transitions.
- Generate technical procedures and training materials for customer service representative, field-service, and operations subgroups to support fault and problem resolution.
- Work primarily in an office environment and at customer sites when required.
- Work within a 24/7 service operation, including shifts, overtime, and schedule changes.
- Travel occasionally and on short notice for technical field activities or customer integrations.
