The primary role of the Order Management Representative is to support customers, partners and sales while ensuring the timely processing of orders in an accurate manner and in accordance with company policy. The position will entail resolving customer issues, processing order requests, and managing inquiries via phone and email. Also, to act as a staff liaison for Order Management between Sales, Credit, Purchasing, Order Fulfillment, and Production.
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Manage incoming orders in accordance with established procedures
- Assist in developing procedures, improving business processes, and other activities that help build operational capabilities and improve the customer experience
- Partner with Sales, Credit, Purchasing, Order Fulfilment, Production and other cross functional teams to quickly resolve discrepancies, customer concerns, and order issues
- Provide exceptional customer service in a timely and courteous manner across sales channels
- Process orders and troubleshoot customer concerns via email and phone
- Communicate with Vendors to ensure orders are on time and customer requirements are flowed down
- Keep track of open Customer/RMA cases, shipment logistics, and address issues promptly
Qualifications
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Ability to think of big picture / outside the box
- Customer Service or E- Commerce Experience Preferred
- Ability to communicate with customers via email and phone; Proficiency in English required
- Expected to be able to take initiative and work independently when needed
- Computer capable, fast learner of new technology/software (Netsuite Experience a plus)
- Full-Time, 8:30AM – 5:30PM, Mon – Fri
