The Role
As the AP/AR Manager at Moxion, you will be our in-house AP & AR expert. You’ll help to expand the policies and procedures for accounts payable and accounts receivable, collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales departments in maintaining Moxion’s relationship with suppliers and customers, report out key metrics and provide end to end management of both functions. We are currently receiving outsourced support and you will be critical in moving these functions in house as well as up-leveling their processes.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the accounts payable function; including the third party outsourced accounting firm currently performing accounts payable activities
- Manage policies and procedures around Accounts Payable
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and other key departments in the Procure to Pay cycle
- Create and manage policies and procedures around Accounts Receivable
- Collaborate with key departments on developing our Quote to Cash process (including Customer Invoicing and Collections) and the related development within Netsuite
- Thoughtfully manage relationship with key Customers and Suppliers
- Own AP and AR month end and reporting requirements including support on annual and compliance audit items
- Provide support in ERP development of AP and AR related processes
- Provide AP and AR reporting to Moxion team members on an as needed basis for vendor and customer management
Skills to be successful:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years in accounting experience including vendor or customer facing experience
- Strong understanding of both Procure to Pay and Order to Cash cycles
- Experience in relationship management from either AP or AR function
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
Pay Equity

Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements. We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience. Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change.
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
