Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information adjudication.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 6 years of experience in information security or program security supporting Department of Defense, intelligence community, or federal environments is required.
  • Working knowledge of Department of Defense and Army security policies and procedures for safeguarding classified information, including marking, handling, storage, transmission, accountability, and destruction, is required.
  • Experience managing security documentation and supporting audits, self-inspections, and corrective action tracking is required.
  • Experience coordinating with Government security stakeholders and supporting a cleared workforce is required.
  • Ability to draft standard operating procedures, brief personnel, and maintain accurate records is required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer the program's Information Security program, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense and Army policies and local security directives.
  • Maintain security documentation, including standard operating procedures, security plans, visit requests, access rosters, courier documentation, destruction records, and briefing and debriefing logs.
  • Oversee classified material handling, storage, transmission, inventory, and accountability; conduct periodic self-inspections and audits.
  • Coordinate personnel security actions, including access eligibility verification, indoctrinations, debriefings, and clearance visit certifications, in coordination with the Government.
  • Develop and deliver security training and awareness briefings; enforce reporting requirements and incident response procedures.
  • Manage and report security incidents and spillage responses; coordinate mitigation actions and corrective measures.
  • Support facility and program security readiness through inspections, compliance checks, and corrective action plans, and interface with Government security offices.
  • Advise program leadership on risk, compliance status, and security best practices; recommend process improvements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command or an Army or Joint headquarters environment.
  • Familiarity with security disciplines beyond Information Security, including personnel, physical, industrial, or Communications Security, and how they integrate in a program environment.
  • Experience leading security training programs and conducting internal assessments and inspections.
  • Relevant certifications or training, such as Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, or Department of Defense security or Operations Security coursework.
  • Experience supporting accreditation or authorization activities or coordinating with cybersecurity teams, as applicable to the program.
