Requirements
  • Level 2 Experience: 2 Years with a Bachelor’s degree; 0 Years with a Master’s degree. 6 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Level 3 Experience: 5 Years with a Bachelor’s degree; 3 Years with a Master’s degree; 1 Year with a PhD. 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Understanding of industry best practices for Technical Editing and Material Planning
  • Possess an active Secret clearance or higher
Responsibilities
  • Maintains a Master Document List (MDL) of all project deliverables, implements and maintains program data libraries, and interfaces with customers in a professional and supportive manner
  • Writes, rewrites and/or edits technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences
  • Conducts quality review of materials, including reviewing documents for contract information, appropriate formatting, cover pages, release authorization, revision/change record, etc.
  • Ensures Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Accession List (DAL) deliverables adhere to Northrop Grumman’s ‘One Voice’ approach for documentation
  • Submits requests for exploratory vendor quotes as required
  • Verifies hardware and software configuration and quantities with Engineering as part of procurement process
  • Tracks task order software and hardware maintenance renewals, coordinating timely purchase request placement with NG Global Supply Chain personnel
  • Works closely with IT Services Lead to identify material price escalation, procurement risk, and line-item substitution requirements
