Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent on computer science or other STEM, finance, data science fields
  • 2+ years working experience, financial industry experience is a must.
  • Experience in modeling.
  • Strong expertise in BI Tools (Tableau preferred)/ SQL to develop reports.
  • Strong experience in graphical data representation using tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making.
  • Strong SQL programming skills.
  • Python coding and/or Power BI experience
  • Finance and business analysis experience with Reporting or Requirement Documentation.
  • Strong writing communication skills.
  • Strong skills in product testing and evaluating software, usability testing, UAT, and using relevant product testing technology.
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
  • Create solution specifications documents for report developers to convert business requirements to technical requirements.
  • Validate reports and request report sign offs from end users.
  • Ability to work with people from different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal.
  • This remote position requires the ability to work effectively from a home office, even in an environment with moderate background noise.
Responsibilities
  • Attend meetings to discuss and identify customer needs and strive to do what's right for our customers.
  • Contribute to designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining business intelligence (BI) applications and tools.
  • Analyze data to drive business decision-making capabilities.
  • Contribute to identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems, including developing and implementing requirements for new features and enhancements.
