Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in pressure, vacuum, and/or industrial services within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience and working knowledge of industrial cleaning and high-pressure equipment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the safe operation of high-pressure systems and equipment.
  • Ability to understand, communicate, and consistently follow company policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of field operations and the ability to safely and effectively execute site-specific job tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of applicable regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a current driver's abstract and no more than 5 demerits within the past 3 years.
  • Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, instructions, detailed forms, detailed operating and procedure manuals, and case histories.
  • Ability to articulate the business vision, strategy, and service capabilities to internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to remain flexible and adaptable to rapid change.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and mentor crew members to ensure safe work practices, quality workmanship, and productivity.
  • Provide daily direction and oversight, ensuring workers have the training, experience, and technical information required to perform their work safely.
  • Allocate manpower and coordinate materials, tools, and equipment to meet job and project requirements.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are inspected, maintained, and in good working condition.
  • Monitor job progress, productivity, schedule, and crew performance, and communicate updates and variances to the Supervisor.
  • Provide workers with ongoing feedback and conduct performance management as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, OH&S requirements, and applicable local, provincial/state, and federal regulations.
  • Address safety, quality, and operational concerns promptly and maintain a strong safety culture.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license is considered an asset.
