Requirements
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban planning, or related field
  • Preferably working towards professional registration (PE, RA, RIA, AICP, CUD, CCM. PMP)
  • 1-3+ years of relevant professional experience in architecture, construction, real estate development, owner's representation, or a related field
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Strong computer, written and verbal skills
  • Experience with scheduling software a plus
  • New York City residence is required within 180 days of hire
Responsibilities
  • Serves as prime contact on contracts or projects through all phases of development
  • Collaborates effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicates effectively across all levels of the corporation
  • Manages a variety of work to required standards of quality, quantity, and timeliness
  • Executes a risk-based management approach to project delivery
  • Leads and influences project teams to achieve desired outcomes
  • Prioritizes work and delegates as necessary
  • Contributes to the completion of specific projects
  • Interprets and applies NYCEDC policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
