About the Job:

As an Associate Manager, Email Marketing Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and engagement through Rent the Runway’s Email, SMS, and Push marketing efforts. You will be responsible for executing email, push, and SMS marketing campaigns, optimizing email performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage end-to-end email, SMS, and push notification execution both in house and via external contractors, from setting up creative testing and audience segmentation to building, testing and deployment of all campaigns 
• Draft briefs and collaborate with cross-functional Creative + Merchandising teams to plan and implement email campaigns 
• Execute test strategies around key email components such as content, timing, audience segmentation, and frequency to drive performance of email campaigns
• Compile, track, and analyze email performance KPIs and make recommendations to campaigns based on this analysis and drive increased revenue
• Support the testing and integration of new email capabilities and tools
• Monitor email deliverability and ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations and international data collection policies

About You:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• 1-2 years experience in email + SMS marketing, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry.
• Proficiency in email marketing + SMS platforms (experience with Sailthru and Attentive a plus)
• You’re detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. Experience in project management software such as Asana is a plus.
• You possess a strong understanding of email marketing principles, best practices, and regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $64,397 to $80,497. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. This position is also eligible for equity compensation.
