Requirements
  • Possesses advanced analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of organizational policies and procedures and understanding of how work affects other Human Resources areas and the organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of human resources concepts, policies and procedures, including employment practices, labor relations, salary administration, training, and other areas of human resources, as well as organizational initiatives relating to or affecting human resources.
  • In-depth knowledge of a human resources management system and/or other related business software programs and systems.
  • Advanced interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to present complex information.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle extremely difficult or volatile situations and individuals effectively, with active listening and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong analytical, active listening, and critical thinking skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience or training.
  • Five to ten years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
  • Independently direct personnel operations for assigned schools or units, including Senate and non-Senate academics, staff, and student employees.
  • Oversee all personnel functions.
  • Serve as principal consultant on academic and staff personnel and payroll matters.
  • Provide executive-level strategic planning, analyses, organizational assessments, and recommendations.
  • Represent assigned schools or units in all personnel matters.
  • Coordinate campus initiatives on behalf of School leadership.
