Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited law school and member in good standing of an applicable state bar or professional organization
  • Transactional experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Strong aptitude towards drafting accurate documents, emails, and written materials, while still being concise and digestible for non-lawyers. Attention to detail is a must
  • Familiarity with technology agreements, domestic privacy law and GDPR
  • Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and produce high-quality work
  • Advanced proficiency using MS Word including document editing, redlining, and comparison functions as well as Adobe, and G-Suite tools
  • Ability to bring positive energy and high-quality customer service approach to responsibilities
Responsibilities
  • Review, redline, and negotiate vendor contracts
  • Respond to contract review requests, consulting directly with internal business partners to define contract requirements, verify details, and provide advice as needed
  • Respond to inquiries regarding internal procurement processes and contract interpretation
  • Use an electronic signing platform to send contracts for signature, and file signed contracts in a contracts database (currently in Salesforce)
  • Work with team, internal clients, and other stakeholders to define requirements for purchasing agreements, and develop playbooks, templates, and other resources
  • Coordinate with the finance team and other stakeholders
  • Other ad hoc special assignments
