What believers are saying

  • HPS updated its website and team pages in 2026, signaling active commercial maintenance.
  • The careers page remained live in July 2026, indicating ongoing hiring or backfill needs.
  • Its broad project coverage fits infrastructure spend in Western Canada, especially power and renewables.

What critics are saying

  • HPS has no visible 2026 press releases, signaling weak market momentum and low disclosure.
  • The 2020 acquisition from Helical Pier Systems creates integration risk if leadership departs.
  • A specialty helical-pile shop loses badly if larger contractors bundle cheaper foundation scopes.

What makes Helical Pile Solutions unique

  • Edmonton-based HPS combines design, supply, installation, and drilled shaft capabilities in-house.
  • HPS says its leaders bring 100 years of combined deep-foundation and energy-industry experience.
  • Its helical piles target low-impact installations across transmission, substations, solar farms, and petrochemicals.
