Indie Campers, a campervan rental platform, completed the second phase of its funding round, raising a total of €62.5 million. This phase, amounting to €27.5 million, was led by Indico Capital Partners with significant participation from Banco Português de Fomento. The investment will accelerate digital platform development and talent acquisition. Founded in 2013, Indie Campers aims to be the leading global road trip platform.
Indie Campers secures €35 million funding to support its expansion in Germany and globally. By 2025, the camper van rental company plans to open 12 new locations across Europe, North America, and Oceania, including Düsseldorf and Munich. The funding will enhance technological infrastructure, operational efficiency, and team growth. Indie Campers aims to double its revenue in Germany by expanding its fleet to over 1,000 vehicles, emphasizing safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
