Kargo is seeking a Client Services Intern! The Client Services Intern will support the Client Services team in all aspects of the campaign life cycle from pre- through post-sales. The Client Services team is responsible for developing inspiring, innovative, and strategic digital marketing campaigns for top-tier advertisers along with providing support for client’s day-to-day needs to ensure expected delivery and client satisfaction. As an intern on the Client Services team, you will be working with fellow team members on the pre-sale portion of a campaign which includes creative brainstorms, pitch decks, and media plans.
You will also be working on the post-sale portion of a campaign which includes being the day-to-day support for the client, pulling reporting, providing recommendations on creative and targeting optimizations, and ensuring campaigns are pacing and performing well. Throughout this, you will learn how to work with both internal and external teams, which will sharpen your communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
You will learn a ton! The Client Services team works cross-functionally with all teams at Kargo and has direct client relationships. You will learn how to think creatively to solve client needs and create a product or campaign that solves the client’s needs and problems. It will be a fulfilling learning experience where you can see a campaign that you are responsible for launching and performing! You’ll learn how to use Excel, perfect your PowerPoint/deck-making skills, and how to effectively work and communicate with both internal and external teams.
The Daily To-Do
- Participate in internal creative brainstorms to come up with original, inspiring ideas that meet advertiser’s objectives and leverage our best assets. You will need to be able to consider the client’s main campaign objectives and translate those into a plan to present to clients, including creating custom mocks for clients.
- Once a campaign is sold, you will work alongside the Client Service Manager to initiate and ensure accurate campaign details are communicated to both clients and internal team members. This will require you to be involved in kick-off calls and gathering campaign set-up information in order for the campaign to be set up correctly in our internal systems.
- Throughout the campaign, you will support your team by assisting with client-facing reports, and creative builds. For creative builds, you will receive assets from the client and work with the creative team to consider how to build out the unit based on client KPIs and what the raw assets look like. You’ll interact with cross-functional teams to gather the necessary materials for this task.
- You will also be responsible for tracking campaigns from start to finish to ensure delivery and performance, considering any necessary optimizations mid-campaign.
- You will help organize client events in order to develop relationships and partnerships with clients.
