To be eligible for this work, all candidates are required to hold a current TOP SECRET clearance, or higher.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform systems engineering and system of systems engineering requirements definition, requirements analysis, architecture design and implementation recommendations and the development, refinement, integration, and implementation of existing and future Integrated Fires (IF) architectures.
Lead or participate in working group meetings, Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, Future Integrations Team (FIT) or other technical meetings.
Perform threat integration tasks and interface with Army Threat agencies and National Intelligence Centers.
Development, use, and maintenance of simulations.
Support portfolio level systems and software process development and engineering to include development and maintenance of the IF MBSE model and reference architecture.
Provide engineering expertise for test planning, execution, and post- data collection, analysis, and reporting.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Hold an advanced degree from an accredited institution, within the fields of Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Operations Research.
Must have at least twenty years’ experience in the use of military radar systems, and the networked Command and Control systems that translate sensor data into combat information.
Must possess demonstrable knowledge of the sciences of ballistics, information theory and feedback response, development of Kalman filtering and other statistical smoothing techniques to clarify sensor data and allow real-time and near real-time categorization, classification, and identification of a wide range of aerial objects.
Must possess demonstrated knowledge of simulation of tactical events across the full spectrum of Live, Virtual and Constructive simulation systems.
Must possess demonstrated knowledge of the appropriate level of fidelity required of simulation techniques to answer questions raised at different points in the Acquisition Cycle, as well as the limitations of particular simulations for validity and prediction.
Must be self-motivated and able to assertively document and follow-up on customer requests.
Must have hands-on knowledge in coordinating problem resolution and working across engineering functional areas.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
Current TS/SCI
Familiarity with Army battle command and control systems such as Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System, Forward Area Air Defense Command and Control, and the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System
Familiarity with the Joint All Domain Command and Control system strategy and development
Current or recent experience working in Integrated Fires & Rapid Capability Office, Integrated Fires Mission Command, or other PEO M&S organizations
