Requirements
  • An active and current TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph through Maryland is required.
  • At least 20 years of systems engineering experience is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of general systems engineering experience is required, or a bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus 20 years of systems engineering experience, or a master's degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus 18 years of systems engineering experience, or a PhD in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus 18 years of systems engineering experience.
Responsibilities
  • Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
  • Interact with the government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
  • Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Maintain responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, including stakeholder requirements definition, requirements analysis, architectural design, implementation, integration, verification, transition, validation, operation, maintenance, disposal, project planning, project assessment and control, decision management, risk management, configuration management, information management, measurement, project portfolio management, infrastructure management, lifecycle model management, human resource management, quality management, acquisition, and supply.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or platform engineering, especially in Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience designing and implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.
  • A high-level understanding of the artificial intelligence and machine learning lifecycle, including development, training, inference, and monitoring.
  • Experience developing machine learning pipelines, deploying models, and using DevOps or MLOps.
  • Experience with Amazon SageMaker.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with varied stakeholder groups, proactively engage them to understand requirements, and inform system architecture decisions.
  • Experience with system security and networking, particularly implementing system security on classified systems.
  • Experience with data engineering and data lifecycle management.

Paul Dillahay is a senior executive at DigitalNet.ai, the new artificial intelligence company founded by serial entrepreneur Ken Bajaj that Lentech is also partnering with. Lentech has appointed President Gregg Einfalt to the chief executive post on an interim basis following the planned departure of Paul Dillahay, who led the company as CEO since January. Einfalt will also work with the employee-owned company's board of directors to assess candidates for the permanent CEO role, Lentech said Wednesday. Dillahay is a senior executive at DigitalNet.ai, the new artificial intelligence company founded by serial entrepreneur Ken Bajaj. DigitalNet.ai formed through a combination of three other businesses including Harmonic AI, which Dillahay founded in 2024 and subsequently led as CEO. Lentech is developing a partnership with DigitalNet.ai that surrounds agentic AI tools for federal agencies and commercial entities, including new use cases. In conjunction with the CEO transition, Dillahay will resume his position as leader of Lentech's strategic advisory board.
