Knowledge Management Specialist

Peraton is seeking a full-time Knowledge Manager to join our team located at Ft. Meade, MD.

Location: on site at Fort Meade, MD. 

In this role you will:

• Act as an SME for Knowledge Management and its reporting capabilities.
• Manage content and work-flow.
• Educate front-end users on the use of the Knowledge Management System.
• Integrate information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
• Train and educate front-end users of the knowledge management tools.
• Coordinate process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of technology solutions, facilitate discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices, and coordinate the development and modification of new and existing content.
• Provide operational support by conducting and overseeing data analysis to optimize search results and ensure proper categorization of content.
• Provide strategic direction to business groups through initiative prioritizing, integration, and resource application and ensures that policies and procedures align with the USCYBERCOM mission.
• Manage content that integrates information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers.
• Oversee reporting to support operations and prepares analysis and recommendations related to categorization of content and optimizing search results.
• Monitor solution benefits and key measures of success to ensure that ongoing benefits are realized (e.g., improved process consistency and faster on-boarding of information).
• Facilitate development of controls with business partners through streamlining processes and system automation, and prepares presentations for senior management to support recommended changes, new initiatives, or enhancements.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, or related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Knowledge Management Specialist.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.

Preferred:

• Significant SharePoint experience. 
• Significant Jira and Confluence experience.
• Experience designing front-end solutions based on business requirements using tools such as SharePoint, Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Designer work-flows and InfoPath forms.
• Experience building solutions compromised of work-flows, forms and dashboards, using SharePoint Online or Jira.
• Knowledge of USCYBERCOM mission.

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
