Requirements
- 8 or more years of learning and development experience with at least 3 years specific to learning design
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning, including learning styles and learning theories, with significant experience applying knowledge to learning solutions for corporate learners
- Experience in building learning content for large-scale programs
- Ability to juggle multiple, complex projects with changing priorities
- Out-of-the-box thinker who isn't afraid to share new ideas
- Self-starter mentality paired with a natural curiosity about Learning & Development
Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development
- Leads the learning design process for L&D that includes needs assessment and evaluation
- Assesses the needs of learners and identifies knowledge gaps through in-depth research, including consultations with clients
- Designs engaging, effective, and accessible learning experiences and ensure all content is delivered in this manner
- Creates curricula outlines and learning outcomes that address identified skills gaps
- Decides on the most suitable modes of learning delivery and structures it to maximize learning
- Assists with standardizing learning design processes, templates, and guides
- Contributes to the design and development of learning plans and pathways within WillowTree's Learning Management System (LMS)
- Upskilling
- Contributes to the company's upskilling efforts through the role of assessing learner needs and knowledge gap identification
- Partners with the VP, L&D to create solutions to address identified skills gaps
- Organizational Effectiveness
- Builds strong relationships and partnerships within the company to create assets to enhance L&D learning designs
- Manages vendor relationships related to learning experience design
- Drives the overall quality, integrity, organization, and execution of learning designs in alignment with business objectives and outcomes
- Team Collaboration
- Leads the learning experience design process for the Learning and Development team and partners with the VP, L&D to manage team engagement and participation within the process
- Serves as a resource and subject matter expert for other Learning and Development team members related to learning experience design
- Maintains commitment to in-office attendance based on branch and role expectations
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in adult learning, instructional design, or related field or equivalent education and related training
- Professional experience supporting an L&D program in the tech industry
- Experience with a Learning Management System (i.e. Cornerstone)
- Proficient in Articulate Storyline and Rise
- Experience working with and creating SCORM content
