ABOUT PATH
Since its foundation in 1984, PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California, connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention, street outreach, employment preparation and placement assistance, individualized case management, supportive services, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing.
ABOUT THE JOB
As part of the Quality Assurance & Compliance, the Quality Assurance & Compliance Specialist provides QAC support to a portfolio of programs within PATH. This includes providing support for Program Implementation, Internal Auditing and External Audit Coordination, Reporting, Performance Evaluation and Document Management and working in close collaboration with program leadership to ensure accurate monitoring or the program and data collection.
Position Responsibilities:
- Support the ramp-up and implementation of new programs, inclusive of behavioral and mental health focused programs.
- Draft and distribute contract summary sheets for all new contracts.
- Ensure existing documents are shared or otherwise created for program use.
- Train staff when needed on new processes and systems.
- Support program directors with project management activities to ensure implementation tasks are completed.
- Maintain expert knowledge of new and existing contracts and provide guidance to program staff to ensure contract compliance.
- Facilitate and coordinate internal and external QA audits of PATH programs.
- Collaborate with program leadership to develop external audit responses and corrective action plans.
- Conduct assessments, site visits, and desk monitoring reviews of internal programs to verify accuracy of records documenting outcomes, compliance with standards, laws, and regulations, and implementation of policies and procedures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in a related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in a related job function or industry experience in quality assurance, compliance, or program development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- One (1) year of experience in a related job function or industry experience in quality assurance, compliance, or program development.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Regardless of qualifications, candidates must:
- Have employment eligibility verification
- Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
- Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:
- Tuberculosis Test
- Background Screening
- Drug Test
DRIVING
Driving is an essential function of this position. To meet the employment requirements for this role, all candidates must:
- Have reliable transportation
- A valid driver’s license
- Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
- The ability to qualify for PATH’s insurance coverage

FLEXIBLE WORK
