Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in from an Accredited Institution
  • Minimum of 12 years+ of relevant experience in the Vertical Transportation field
  • Familiarity with latest version of AutoCAD and PDF (Bluebeam and/or Adobe) MS Excel and Word required
  • Experience in elevator traffic analysis, design, and calculation software;
  • Possess basic understanding of proper system selection
  • Exhibit thorough understanding of applicable codes
  • Project management experience
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the national Vertical Transportation team
  • Manage the design and engineering of vertical transportation systems for various projects
  • Represent the Firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members
  • Supervise, coordinate, and assign projects to the team
  • Maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades/projects consultants
  • Monitor correspondence between staff, clients, contractors, owners, etc.
  • Prepare proposals and administer project contracts
  • Assume responsible charge for the economic well-being of assigned projects
  • Participate in QA/QC process of completed work by staff
  • Prepare vertical transportation analysis and perform system design calculations
  • Select equipment for building systems and write reports
  • Market capabilities to internal and external clients
