Responsibilities

Lead the operating expense portion of our company planning cycle, including the long-range planning process, annual plan, and monthly/quarterly forecasts for both headcount and non-headcount operating expenses
Lead monthly business vs actual reviews with each department head and develop relevant reporting packages
Drive automation and process improvements around operating expense reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
Partner with HR and Recruiting on headcount and open roles reporting and tracking
Analyze financial results to identify significant business trends, variances, and levers in operating expenses and provide insights to department heads
Be a thought leader and partner with department leaders to drive sound investment decisions and operational efficiencies
Create ad hoc analysis to support key business decisions and contract negotiations
Recommend new productivity or cost-saving initiatives

Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) is looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to build out enhanced operating expense forecasting and reporting processes. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance, you will partner with senior leaders in each department to create budgets, build processes and reports to analyze monthly actuals, and work on strategic projects around Xometry’s operating expenses. This role will be responsible for closely managing all operating expense investments, tracking hiring plans and headcount, and leading initiatives to make Xometry more efficient as we scale.
