Requirements
  • Food certification is required.
  • One year of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • The employee must provide exceptional guest service.

  • The employee must be able to stand, walk, lift, twist, bend, and traverse stairs frequently.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in providing direction, coaching, and leadership for all back-of-house employees, including food preparation and production, safety and sanitation, and company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience through the execution of high-quality food.
  • Use the necessary tools to ensure quality food is prepared according to recipe specifications within company-approved ticket times.
  • Ensure food product freshness through proper purchasing and product rotation using the first-in, first-out method.
  • Check food storage and temperatures daily, record temperatures on the log sheet, and notify maintenance of issues.
  • Communicate, implement, and follow up on changes to food products, kitchen systems, and procedures when applicable.
  • Perform daily opening, mid-shift, and closing operational duties.
  • Attend training for new menu items and train kitchen staff on proper preparation of new menu items.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
