Sally’s Apizza serves traditional New Haven-style pizza. It makes hand-crafted pies with distinctive tomato sauce, a chewy yet crispy crust, and an oven-kissed char, baked in custom-designed ovens according to the original family recipes. The product works by baking dough that’s shaped by skilled bakers in ovens designed to achieve a specific balance of crust texture and charring, then topping with its signature sauce and toppings. The company differentiates itself from competitors by staying true to authentic New Haven apizza techniques and recipes while expanding to new locations across the United States, emphasizing a handcrafted process over mass production and using uniquely designed ovens to reproduce a consistent, classic bake. The goal is to grow the brand with more open locations across the USA while preserving the original methods and flavor that define Sally’s Apizza."}்```Oops```````? Wait ensure valid JSON. Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Sally’s opened Dorchester in September 2025 and keeps expanding across Massachusetts.
  • Official August 2026 locations show Woburn, Dorchester brunch, and new builds in Seaport, Concord, Weymouth.
  • Recent Connecticut and Massachusetts openings prove demand for the brand outside New Haven.

What critics are saying

  • SoNo Collection sued Sally’s for $3.8 million in April 2026 over Norwalk delays.
  • The lawsuit cites default notices, unpaid rent, and contractor liens against Lineage Hospitality.
  • Execution risk is severe: stalled Norwalk openings can choke cash, damage landlords, and slow expansion.

What makes Sally’s Apizza unique

  • Sally’s serves authentic 1938 New Haven-style coal-fired apizza, charred, thin, and sauce-forward.
  • Its New Haven heritage and cult regional brand separate it from chain pizza concepts.
  • The concept travels well: Dorchester, Woburn, and Connecticut sites all reinforce the same identity.

Sally's Apizza to Open in Weymouth

Sally's Apizza to open in Weymouth. An award-winning Connecticut pizzeria continues to be in expansion mode, with a location now in the works for the South Shore. According to a page within the website for the business, Sally's Apizza is planning to open in an as-of-yet undisclosed location in Weymouth, with the page saying that it is one of a handful of "2026 construction starts" that includes a previously announced outlet in Concord. The page also mentions the upcoming location in Boston's Fort Point/Seaport which appears to be ahead of Concord and Weymouth, with the three outlets eventually joining existing locations in Woburn and South Bay. Sally's Apizza, which first opened in New Haven in 1938, is one of a few pizzerias in that city (including Pepe's and Modern) that are often mentioned among the best pizza spots in the entire country...
