Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in social media, content creation or community management, leading large online communities
  • Experience managing cross-channel content calendars
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and what makes engaging content
  • Ability to collaborate with the cross functional team
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good with ideation and making ideas come to life
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required with a field of study in: Marketing, Business, Journalism, English, Communications preferred
Responsibilities
  • Cultivating a dynamic community, driving engagement, and creating meaningful connections with our current audience and driving in new consumers to interact with our brand
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and brand mentions, providing insights to refine strategy and inspire real-time content creation
  • Foster a strong sense of communities among IHOP super fans, encouraging interaction, user-generated content, and brand advocacy
  • Support Brand Social Community Manager in ensuring brand voice consistency and authenticity through community engagement
  • Lead publishing and execute social media campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve campaign objectives
  • Work closely with the Brand Social Community Manager to monitor social platforms to provide updates on any situations that may arise
  • Monitor social media performance and provide insights on what’s working (what’s not) to optimize content strategies across channels.
