  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security/Computer Science/related engineering field
  • 2+ years of experience performing DevSecOps in the defense industry
  • Familiarity with working in DevSecOps environments for software development teams, both on-premises and within the defense industry at classified and unclassified levels
  • Experience in setting up and managing on-premises instances of Rancher Federal (RKE2) Kubernetes, GitLab, Artifactory, Azure, Python, C++, and Azure Container Registry within the defense sector
  • Proficiency with Linux operating systems, particularly RHEL and Ubuntu
  • Experience in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in Python and C++ software
Responsibilities
  • Lead the setup, administration, and maintenance of EpiSci's DevSecOps environments, processes, and tools to enhance product quality, strengthen software security, and improve developer experience
  • Administer, supports, and maintains Docker container environments
  • Oversee the setup, support, and maintenance of binary repository management tools
  • Administer and maintains High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments
  • Collaborate with ISSOs and ISSMs to ensure compliance with security requirements
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity/Computer Science/related Engineering field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience performing DevSecOps in the defense industry
  • Extensive experience leading, setting up, administering, and maintaining DevSecOps environments for software development teams both on-premises and in the defense industry at classified and unclassified levels
  • Proven expertise in setting up and managing on-premises instances of Docker, Nexus, and SonarQube, with proficiency in writing Docker files, using Docker Compose, and managing Docker containers via the command line
  • Current U.S. Top Secret (TS) clearance
