Job Description
Minimum Qualifications: Doctorally prepared Registered Nurse; Active licensure in South Carolina or compact state (or eligible for SC licensure). Highly qualified Masters prepared candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
-Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing nursing workforce development and increasing access to nursing careers.
-Lead efforts to identify and dismantle barriers that hinder entry into nursing programs, particularly for underrepresented populations.
-Partner with the Assistant Dean for Finance, Administration, and Strategic Planning in the development and execution of the business plan and proforma.
Partnership Development:
-Build and sustain partnerships with healthcare organizations, community groups, and educational institutions to create supportive pathways for nursing students.
-Collaborate with external stakeholders to advance nursing workforce development and retention.
Program Development and Expansion:
-Lead a detailed needs assessment to create a growth and development plan, specifically focused on nursing education pathways and partnerships.
-Initiate and expand programs that address workforce shortages and prepare students for the evolving demands of the healthcare sector, including the integration of HyFlex learning models and the development of dual degree programs.
-Experience or knowledge of the following preferred: HyFlex learning, satellite campuses, global initiatives, and dual degree programs.
-Lead initiatives to expand enrollment capabilities across all programs.
-Work with the Associate Dean for Finance to develop business plans and budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and alignment with strategic goals.
-Compliance and Accreditation:
-Work with the Associate Dean for Academics and the Academic Assistant Deans to ensure compliance with academic standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation processes.
Scholarship and Service:
-Participate in research and scholarship that contribute to the understanding of nursing workforce issues and educational best practices.
-Participate in committees, advisory boards, and task forces that enhance the College’s visibility and commitment to workforce development and global initiatives.
